ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Draft, review, and revise a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, licensing agreements, and other business agreements.
- Assist outside counsel in contract negotiation and risk assessment to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and enterprise policies.
- Maintain a centralized contract management system; track key deadlines, renewal dates, and obligations.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries on issues impacting the gaming industry, including regulatory updates and compliance requirements.
- Support the preparation of filings, correspondence, and reports for gaming commissions, tribal regulators, and other oversight agencies.
- Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations, IT, Marketing) to gather necessary information for contract development.
- Assist with corporate governance tasks, such as preparing board resolutions, corporate records, and regulatory disclosures.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and maintain compliance with state, federal, and tribal gaming regulations.
- Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned by the Legal Department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree Preferred; Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of paralegal experience with a focus on contracts, preferably in gaming, hospitality, or highly regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and compliance practices.
- Experience working with contract management systems or legal databases.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
- Knowledge of tribal gaming regulations, state gaming commissions, and/or casino operations a plus.
- This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Intermediate skills in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite Software, email and Enterprise specific programs.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, financial reviews, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
