Step into a rewarding role providing essential Occupational Therapy services to students in the Chandler, AZ area. This contract opportunity extends from July 29th through May 26th and offers full-time hours working with K-8th grade students. Make a positive impact in both school and home health settings, utilizing your expertise in OT and collaborating with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in educational and/or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with K-8th grade student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
- Adaptability to provide therapy across both school and home health environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to K-8th graders, supporting their functional independence in school and daily life
- Assess, document, and report progress, maintaining compliance with all regulatory and procedural guidelines
- Partner with teachers, caregivers, and staff to deliver targeted interventions
- Consult on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications as needed
- Attend meetings and contribute to educational planning and individualized programs
- Maintain thorough and timely records of student performance and goals
