Salary: $18-20/hr
Position Summary
The Group Home Program Coordinator is responsible for the daily oversight, coordination, and administration of a Developmental Disabilities Division (DDD) licensed residential program. This role ensures that services are person-centered, compliant with all regulatory requirements, and aligned with organizational values. The Program Coordinator
supports residents individual goals, and maintains a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight & Compliance
- Ensure the group home operates in full compliance with DDD regulations, policies, and licensing requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reporting in accordance with state and agency standards
- Prepare for and participate in audits, inspections, and quality assurance reviews
- Update and maintain accurate ratio requirements for each house
Resident Care & Support
- Oversee implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and behavior support plans
- Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered care that promotes independence and dignity
- Prepare for and attend resident planning meetings
- Advocating for member needs in meetings
- Schedule legal meetings for residents
Communication & Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between families, guardians, case managers, and external providers
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 23 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of DDD regulations and licensing standards
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with planning documents, BTP, etc.
Certifications & Requirements
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks and meet state compliance requirements
Working Conditions
- May require evenings, weekends, and on-call availability
- Work is performed in an office setting with home involvement
