Hematology/Oncology Consult Inpatient AGACNP/ACNP or PA at Banner-University Medical Center/University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ

We are actively recruiting for an outstanding Hematology/Oncology APP to join our division in Tucson, Arizona. Our current team consists of 22 Faculty in total: 14 Solid Tumor and 8 Hematologist physicians and 15 APP’s within the Division of Hematology Oncology. The University of Arizona Cancer Center maintains FACT accreditation for hematopoietic stem cell and cellular therapies provide state of the art treatment for patients with hematologic malignancies. Our Medical Oncology Service provides cutting edge treatments, including cellular therapies to patients with solid tumors. Our NCI designation ensures that we have a comprehensive clinical trials program, which expands clinical options for our patients.

Position Details:

• Full-Time position (1.0 FTE)
• Inpatient Hematology/Oncology
• Average of 8 patients per day
• 4 10-hour shifts
• No Holidays
• No call

We are seeking applicants with:

• Nurse Practitioner with acute care certification or Physician Assistant with inpatient experience required
• Ability to obtain an AZ license and DEA
• Oncology certification or experience desired
• Experienced providers encouraged to apply
