Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16.70 - $16.70 / hour*

What you'll be doing as an Diesel Mechanic:

• Learn to maintain equipment safely and assist your mentor with repairs and tool handling
• Perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
• Use vehicle computer systems to identify and resolve issues
• Complete paperwork related to repairs and maintenance using fleet software
• Conduct safety checks and respond to emergency breakdowns
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Willingness to learn and assist in keeping equipment running safely
• Basic mechanical understanding and ability to assist with repairs
• Ability to diagnose and fix various systems on vehicles and equipment
• Basic computer skills for diagnostic tools and repair logs
• Ability to work in both indoor shops and outdoor environments
• Must handle tools safely and work in potentially awkward positions
