CDL Class A Local Driver (In-State) – Lowboy/Heavy Haul

Now Hiring: Experienced CDL Class A Local Driver

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This is an in-state, local driving position , allowing you to be home daily. The ideal candidate will have experience operating an 18-speed manual transmission semi-truck with a lowboy trailer and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.

• Safely operate an 18-speed manual transmission semi-truck with a lowboy trailer.

• Transport equipment and materials throughout the state.

• Properly secure all loads using appropriate tie-downs, chains, binders, and other securement equipment.

• Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.

• Comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations, including hours-of-service requirements and vehicle inspections.

• Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation.

• Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and in good operating condition.

• Assist with shop duties, equipment maintenance, and general labor when not driving.

• Valid Class A CDL .

• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience .

• Experience operating an 18-speed manual transmission is required.

• Experience hauling equipment with a lowboy trailer is required.

• Knowledge of proper load securement procedures.

• Strong understanding of DOT and FMCSA regulations.

• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Clean driving record.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Willing to assist in the shop when driving assignments are not available.
