We are looking for a CDL Driver to pickup and delivery product/freight from customer sites to CXtec facilities

As a CDL Driver you will be responsible for pickup and delivery of product/freight from customer sites to CXtec facilities operating a box truck or semi-truck. This includes multiple stops per working day, using scanning equipment, working directly with customers and following all customer and ITAD protocols.

This position is located in Goodyear AZ

Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 Annually

What you'll be doing:

• Operate vehicle(s) safely within DOT regulations that govern safe driving, hours of service, inspection, maintenance, and transportation of hazardous materials.
• Load and unload freight on trailers using a motorized forklift, pallet jack or manually in compliance with state and federal DOT guidelines.
• Ensure the quality loading of all trucks. Secure freight inside trucks using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope).
• Read and interpret shipping labels. Familiarity with and ability to complete the various forms utilized in freight movement such as shipping orders, manifests, freight bills, overage/damage movement reports and exception forms.
• Operate lift gate, hand load, rewrap or stack freight as necessary.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) including inspections of truck according to DOT regulations; inspect truck to ensure it meets company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
• Report all safety issues and/or repairs required and ensure repairs and scheduled maintenance are completed.
• Interact on a regular basis with customers and work efficiently to meet customer needs.
• Adhere to customer site protocols.
• Shred customer product/equipment in accordance with ITAD and company protocols.
• Follow ITAD protocols and procedures

What we're looking for:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2 years of verifiable Class A interstate and intrastate driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record / Clean MVR/DMV record, with no commercial serious violations, no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years, no DUI/DWI in the last 10 years.
• Experience with ITAD security protocols and procedures a plus.
• Experience with Penske truck leasing tools and equipment a plus.
• Ability to change, pivot when circumstances require it, make decisions without complete information and handle risk with resilience.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Availability to work evening and weekend hours as required.
