Information Technology Specialist,

The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) is seeking an IT Project Manager to design online educational experiences for K-12 students, teachers, parents, and school staff. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing large, enterprise-wide projects, with an emphasis on implementing projects in Software Development, Data Visualization, and Vendor Management. This role requires a self-driven individual who can work independently, provide innovative solutions, and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Apply IT project management principles.
- Utilize Software Development Life Cycle knowledge.
- Apply Agile principles for flexible project execution.
- Address and adapt to frequent changes.
- Define mission, goal, task, and resource allocation.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
- Engage stakeholders transparently.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Convey project updates and insights to stakeholders.
- Prioritize and plan effectively.
- Develop data strategies aligned with goals.
- Lead and manage data and BI teams.
- Extract insights from datasets.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

- Comprehensive knowledge of IT project management principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Proficiency in Agile principles.
- Strong technical and solutioning acumen.
- Experience in efficient management of budgets and resources.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize and plan effectively.

- Bachelor's Degree
- Manager/Supervision experience
