We are a locally owned sushi restaurant in Gilbert, AZ with a loyal customer base. We are focused on offering consistent, high-quality service and food while maintaining a warm, neighborhood feel. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Sushi Chef who is passionate about Japanese cuisine and takes pride in their craft.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi and other Japanese dishes with precision and consistency in a timely manner
- Ensure freshness, proper preparation, and storage of all ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Communicate supply needs to management
- Work with back-of-house and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques
- Familiar with proper food handling, storage, and rotation
- Attention to detail and commitment to food safety and cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual and a team player
- Food Handlers card
