Job Summary

Client is seeking a contract Technical Writer, with potential for direct hire, to support documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related work instructions for both SAP-enabled business processes and processes outside SAP across Supply Chain, Warehouse, Quality, and Manufacturing operations. This role partners with Value Stream Leads, business SMEs, and project team members to capture and document business processes in a clear, consistent, and controlled format. The Technical Writer will augment documentation workloads to support SAP implementation success and drive updates, revisions, and transitions of Quality Management System (QMS) documents into ETQ.

Key Responsibilities

1. Doc ument SOPs, work instructions, and process guides for SAP-enabled business processes.
2. Update, revise, and improve QMS documents transitioning from legacy systems to ETQ.
3. Collaborate with Value Stream Leads and SMEs to capture process flows, roles, decision points, exceptions, and controls.
4. Translate operational and system processes into clear, user-ready documentation.
5. Participate in process walkthroughs, workshops, and working sessions to gather requirements.
6. Review and revise documentation based on stakeholder feedback.
7. Maintain documentation consistency, organization, and version control.
8. Support documentation readiness for UAT, training, go-live, and operational sustainment.
9. Drive transfer and revision of QMS documents into ETQ.

Required Qualifications

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing, SOP development, or process documentation.
2. Experience documenting processes in Supply Chain, Warehouse, Quality, and/or Manufacturing environments.
3. Strong understanding of operational workflows and documentation practices.
4. Experience collaborating with SMEs to gather and validate business process content.
5. Strong written communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Visio preferred.
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Exp erience supporting SAP implementations or documenting SAP-enabled business processes.
2. Knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, production processes, procurement, and material movement.
3. Experience in solar module manufacturing.
4. Experience supporting UAT, training documentation, or go-live readiness.
5. Experience with ETQ or similar document management systems.
6. Understanding of Mandarin and/or written Chinese.
