A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with Emergency Room expertise to contribute to a prestigious healthcare facility in Scottsdale, AZ. This contract position offers the chance to work in a Level 1 Trauma center and teaching hospital environment, supporting exceptional patient care and advanced medical education.

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
Situated in the vibrant Phoenix metropolitan area, the location provides access to numerous cultural, recreational, and professional amenities. The healthcare facility is nationally recognized for tertiary care, including lung, liver, and kidney transplant specialties and is affiliated with a top-ranked neurological institute.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care and emergency nursing in a fast-paced ER environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital setting, including supervising nursing students
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient care coordination
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including attire and hygiene standards
• Successfully complete required competency exams such as the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam prior to assignment start

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of core nursing experience in Emergency Room or Neuro ICU, preferably with previous travel nursing background
• Level 1 Trauma center experience required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR mandatory
• Experience in a teaching hospital setting
• Must be free from any CommonSpirit permanent staff roles for 12 months prior to assignment eligibility
• Must comply with facility appearance policies (no facial piercings, natural hair colors only)

Schedule & Commitment:

• Contract duration minimum 13 weeks
• Weekly onboarding orientation sessions (Mondays, excluding holidays) with strict deadlines for credential completion
• Night and day shifts available with assigned parking and shuttle services provided

Additional Information:

• Teams must have personal vehicles; Cath Lab does not accept RN-tech teams
• Assignment includes working in a highly reputable tertiary care facility renowned for complex transplant and neurological care
