Senior Vice President of Accounting

$180,000-$225,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Greater Phoenix, AZ (hybrid schedule)

Vaco has partnered with a real estate company looking for a Senior VP of Accounting to add to the team. This role provides leadership across accounting operations, treasury, and corporate financial activities while partnering closely with executive leadership on development and acquisition initiatives. You’ll play a key role in driving financial oversight, supporting strategic growth, and developing a strong accounting and finance team. Responsibilities include:

• Manage external audit processes and maintain relationships with audit and tax partners.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, treasury activities, and financial operations for corporate entities.
• Serve as a liaison for partner financial matters in coordination with external tax consultants.
• Support development and acquisition initiatives through financial planning and execution.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities across the accounting and finance teams.

Requirements:

• CPA required
• Real Estate experience required
• Property Accounting experience required
• BS in Accounting or Finance required
