Description
To maintain the overall cleanliness of the property, assist to the maintenance team in preparing apartments for occupancy, and maintaining pool quality levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with all community and safety policies, including wearing back belt and safety glasses when needed. Comply with all site and company policies, follow all Fair Housing Rules, and adhere to dress code.
- Consistently maintain a clean and attractive environment around the Leasing Office, Clubhouse, Pool and all common areas.
- Remove graffiti on same day it appears.
- Maintain clean streets, curbs and sidewalks.
- Paint curbs and property as needed.
- Inspect and clean property from exterior fences
- Sweep all breezeways and steps.
- Keep property free of trash, debris, and animal feces. Report consistent violations.
- Maintain clean laundry rooms.
- Maintain clean doors and light globes.
- Replace exterior light bulbs as needed.
- Clean pool area and pool furniture.
- Clean playground equipment and grounds.
- Empty all trash receptacles as often as necessary, check daily. Maintain clean trash enclosures and rotate dumpsters as needed. Hose down as often as needed.
- Empty ash urns as often as needed.
- Report to Property Manager any inoperable vehicles on property.
- Assist in apartment make-readies and carpet shampoos.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a reliable means of transportation and a valid driver’s license that is not expired, suspended or revoked
- Flexible schedule – must be able to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and some Holidays
- Must be willing and able to occasionally travel, including working at other property locations or overnight trips
- Must be able to work under diverse weather conditions
- Communicate in English clearly and concisely – both orally and in writing.
