Cath Lab Tech (Rad Tech)
Specialists will take care of patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab and help with preparing patients and taking care of them after their procedures.
They should be skilled in doing cardiac catheterizations, helping with heart procedures, and placing permanent pacemakers.
They also need to know how to do heart stress tests, implant loop recorders, and perform vein treatments.
It is important to follow the rules set by CVMC, AACN, CCI, and SICP.
There may be other tasks to do as needed. A Rad Tech or CVT license is required.
**Qualifications:**
- Must have a current CVT, ARRT, or RCIS certification
- Must get ACLS certification within 90 days
- Must have 1-2 years of experience
