Duties

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and food items with precision and care, ensuring food safety and proper handling standards are met. (multi-tasking, good under pressure when busy)
• Manage POS system Clover POS to process transactions accurately, handle cash and card payments, and perform cashiering duties with efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety regulations and food preparation standards.
• Create engaging social media content including photos, videos, and posts that highlight our offerings, events, and brand personality to attract new customers and retain followers.
• Schedule and publish content across various platforms while monitoring engagement to optimize reach.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory management, supply ordering, record keeping, and daily reporting to ensure smooth operations.
• Support retail sales activities by promoting products, upselling items, and maintaining attractive displays.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service quality and operational efficiency while fostering a positive work environment.
• Handle basic math calculations for sales totals, cash handling, and inventory counts accurately.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and food handling procedures.
• Previous experience in social media content creation or digital marketing is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between duties seamlessly.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation practices within a café or food industry setting.
• Strong organizational skills for administrative tasks including record keeping and scheduling.
• Creative mindset with an eye for visual storytelling through social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed.
