We are seeking a professional Certified Medical Assistant. This position will fluctuate from back to front office on a needed basis. We're looking for one who is professional, well-organized, great at multitasking, and can provide safe and caring environment that our patients would love to be in. The providers in this practice are Double Board Certified MD specializing in Pain Management, Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgeon, and NP

Applicants will be strongly considered if have the following:
Experience with:
1. EMR software
2. Answering phones and faxes, referrals processing and follow up
3. Medical records
4. Experience with Microsoft/ Excel
5. Understand HIPAA Guidelines
6. Vital signs and injections
7. Ordering and processing image reports & some labs
8. Medical Assistant Certification From a recognized School

Your Work responsibilities will be:
- Greet patients
- Answer phones
- Schedule appointments
- Collect payments
- Submit and assist with authorization
- Assists with preps and general patient care
- May perform routine treatments within the scope of experience, taking and record V/S under supervision of the NP or MD.

Manage incoming calls, faxes, and emails
- Manage EMR charts for provider(s) This will include sending medical records to the necessary places for follow ups
- Advise patients on providers orders

Order office supplies/lab items keep par levels set

Insurance support

Rate will be $17.00-$18.00 Per Hour depending on experience
Hours are from 9:00-5:00 Monday- Friday.
