Purchase Order Coordinator
12-month contract, with potential for extension, or conversion to full-time, based on performance and client need.
Looking for a Coordinator with Purchase Order Management skills, Excel (intermediate); creating pivot tables and formulas, PowerBI experience. This is not a coordinator role that will answer phones, schedule events or managing calendars. This resource will focus on PO management
Location: Chandler, AZ, with hybrid schedule. Monday and Friday are WFH and the rest of the days are in the office.
Travel: Around once per quarter will travel to the Seattle area. Please ensure your candidate can meet this requirement. Will go to local field sites.
Expenses: Just travel expenses but also monthly cell phone can be expensed (per standard charges). No internet.
Top 3 skills that would make this candidate successful in the role? Self-motivated, intermediate knowledge of MS-Excel, Agile.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares and processes purchase orders and requisitions for internal customers within the market Materials and services alike.
- Facilitates approval of invoices and processes them within the appropriate system.
- Tracks material inventory by means of Excel Tracker.
- Conducts semi-annual physical counts of materials at the General Contractors' yard
- Manages material movements and use across assigned projects.
- Updates necessary tracking system(s) daily and with accurate data.
- Analyzes project data using PowerBI and internal Excel templates.
- Develops and maintains accurate and complete files for projects and programs; continues to monitor for integrity and completeness.
- Attend project meetings to prepare for upcoming project needs and aid in the support of those tasks.
- Identify added project costs with the local team to determine forecast changes.
- Manages repository of project documents and maintains organization and accuracy.
- Communicates all issues to management prior to reaching critical status.
- Vendor management, where applicable.
Education/Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or (2) years of equivalent work experience preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Two (2) years of related experience
- Excellent organizational/administrative skills
- Strong, Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Other Skills/Abilities
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office and ability to learn a variety of tracking and project management software
- Excellent organizational/administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic problem-solving environment
Working Conditions: Works in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
