Position Title: Physician (Radiologist Specializing in Body, Musculoskeletal, and/or Neuro Imaging)
Location: Beautiful Tucson, Arizona
The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) is on the lookout for a dedicated and dynamic Physician (Diagnostic Radiologist ) to join our team. This includes interpreting various radiological examinations, developing accurate diagnoses, initiating timely and appropriate radiologic interpretations, and consulting with other specialties.

Key Duties:
- Promptly assess and interpret radiological examinations using appropriate clinical and laboratory data.
- Accurately evaluate radiological data for diagnosing and determining clinical status.
- Maintain high standards in therapeutic ability, patient management, and record-keeping.
- Participate in shared call and weekend coverage, review pre-procedure labs, and engage in peer review processes.
Requirements:
- US Citizen with an active and unrestricted license in any US State
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
- Board Certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Significant experience or recent completion of a Neuroradiology fellowship
- Ability to perform neuroradiologic procedures and interpret examinations related to multiple specialties

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System serves over 170,000 veterans from eight counties in Southern Arizona and one in Western New Mexico. Our flagship 295-bed hospital in Tucson is part of a network of healthcare facilities providing comprehensive medical and mental health services.
We are a Joint Commission-accredited, level 1a complexity teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy. Our facility includes specialized centers of excellence such as the Polytrauma Network Site, the Southwest Blind Rehabilitation Center, and the Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: $360,000 - $400,000, with annual performance bonuses and regular salary increases.
- Generous Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year, including annual leave, sick leave, federal holidays, and possible paid CME absence.
