The Director of Cardiovascular Services will be pivotal in managing administrative and clinical functions within the Cardiovascular Services department, including the Cardiac Cath Lab, EEG, Echo, and Cardiopulmonary.
Responsibilities include ensuring appropriate staffing levels, managing budgets for labor and operations, maintaining compliance with policies and regulations, overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care services, and making strategic decisions regarding staffing, including hiring, firing, and disciplining staff as necessary

The Director will oversee all supervisory tasks related to nursing services, including completing work schedules, task allocation, and job performance evaluation.

Additionally, the Director will establish goals and standards for nursing services and conduct regular staff meetings to facilitate effective communication, providing direction and leadership.

The Director of Cardiovascular Services will oversee the department's quality performance and risk management programs, develop clear expectations, and resolve performance problems.

The Director will also help develop and maintain the departmental budget and ensure regulatory compliance.
The Director is responsible 24/7 for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for all types of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, within the department and supporting services.
