Job Title: General Assembler
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Assembler to join our team in assembling a wide range of parts necessary for the larger unit assembly. This role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand and air-powered tools efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of parts required for larger unit assembly.
• Potentially operate machinery such as Band Saw, Brake Press, and Plate Roller.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks.
• Work overtime when necessary to meet production targets.

• 6+ months of assembly experience.
• Mechanical assembly and mechanic experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Experience with hand and air-powered tools.

• Experience with press brakes, shears, and basic CNC machinery is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints is highly advantageous.
• Electrical assembly experience is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a large manufacturing environment that includes both indoor and outdoor settings. While part of the area is air-conditioned, most of it is not. Be prepared to work potential overtime, with shifts running from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with possible extensions to 5 am to 4/5 pm. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, pants/work jeans, and a t-shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
