About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 36 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Labor experience Postpartum experience Experience with well baby care Stabilization of critical newborns for transfers Description: This position involves providing care in the labor and delivery unit. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. It features a range of services including medical/surgical beds, intensive care, and rehabilitation. The emergency department operates around the clock. Surgical and diagnostic imaging services are also available. The unit has a varied patient population including laboring patients, postpartum, and neonates. The role requires working every other weekend. Teamwork and flexibility in scheduling are essential. Experience with electronic health records is preferred.
