Physical Therapist Job Details

• Position: Locum Tenens Physical Therapist – Outpatient Pelvic Health
• Location: Cottonwood, AZ 86326 (Arizona physical therapy jobs)
• Facility Setting: Outpatient Clinic (Pelvic Health, Orthopedics, Geriatrics, Cardiopulmonary, Neurological, Lymphedema)
• Contract Length: 26 weeks (6-month travel contract)
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: March 23, 2026
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200–$2250 per week
• Patient Load: Approximately 11 patients daily
• Weekend Coverage: As needed
• On Call: Not required
• Floating: May float to nearby outpatient clinics
• EMR: Cerner
• Parking: Free onsite parking

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active Arizona Physical Therapist license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience
• Pelvic health experience (female patients required, male patients preferred)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association, required)
• Ability to treat a variety of diagnoses and float to other outpatient clinics as needed
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and time management skills
• First-time travelers welcome

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient physical therapy services with a focus on pelvic health for female and male patients
• Manage referrals from urology and OBGYN providers
• Support orthopedic, geriatric, cardiopulmonary, neurological, and lymphedema patient populations as needed
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Conduct patient assessments, evaluations, and reassessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards
• Float to other outpatient clinics within the system as required
