The Project Estimator plays a critical role within the project team by providing accurate cost estimations and supporting bid preparation to ensure successful project execution. This position requires close collaboration with team members and clients, using specialized estimating software to analyze data, review contracts, and communicate effectively. The role offers growth opportunities through cross-training in project management.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cost estimation for construction projects
- Prepare and submit competitive bids
- Analyze project data and materials to inform estimates
- Review contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Communicate with clients and project managers to clarify project needs
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in construction estimating
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in cost estimation and budgeting
- Experience with project management principles
- Ability to interpret construction drawings
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and time management skills
