Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school setting located in Amado, AZ. This contract role runs through the next school year, with a work schedule from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, serving students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. The caseload will be approximately 50-60 students, providing a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to support a diverse population of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop appropriate individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy services to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school and healthcare settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques applicable to pre-K through 8th-grade students.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
