Job Description
Royal Automotive Groups Business Development Center or “BDC” liaises between the company’s service & sales departments and our customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Often the BDC is the first and last impression with a lot of customer interaction. We have various opportunities through two teams to cover tasks within the dealership for sales, service, and beyond. A successful Business Development Center team member loves talking to people with the friendliness, professionalism, and empathy that customers look for today. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist customers with appointment scheduling for sales and service.
- Have a warm, friendly, and confident demeanor while maintaining exceptional customer service & professionalism.
- Strong computer skills while communicating comfortably via various platforms and mediums.
- Communicates effectively with database customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication, whether by phone, email, or in person.
- Assists customers with scheduling appointments.
- Checks email frequently and responds to inquiries immediately.
- Execute inbound and outbound prospect calls – sales, service if appropriate to store, and answers internet leads and campaigns. Deliver messages intended for other departments promptly.
- Keep an organized workspace and awareness of the resources and tools provided.
- Responsible for maintaining contact with customer requests and working positively with the sales and service team members and Managers.
- Navigate through multiple computer programs effectively.
- Make CSI follow-up calls, if applicable, and contact all no-shows to reschedule missed appointments.
- Maintain BDC standards regarding dials, show rates, and word tracks.
- Maintain great attendance and attention to detail and follow-up.
- Participate in ongoing training via listening to call recordings, attending training, and participating in role-play opportunities to expand skill sets.
- Responsible for keeping an accurate count of appts and sold.
- Responsible for acting positively and professionally in a team environment.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong phone, computer, and internet skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Must be able to empathize with clients
- Must have strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Must have a dependable work-ethic
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- High school diploma or GED
- Past sales/call center experience is a plus.
*Bilingual (Spanish English) a plus !
