Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across ED units, including Main ED, Fast Track, and Observation Unit, with regular rotation among areas
- Perform triage, assist with Quick Registration, Covid Tent operations, and entry screening as part of the ED workflow
- Manage patient loads, administer medications per physician orders and hospital protocol, monitor vitals, and document in the electronic medical record
- Participate in Covid testing and/or immunization clinics as needed; support department initiatives during fluctuations in patient volume
- Float to other departments within scope of practice as required; collaborate closely with the ED team to maintain safety and efficiency

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Arizona
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent ER RN experience
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and conscious sedation certification (certification obtained through facility after confirmation; $105 fee)
- Nursing degree from an accredited program (ASN or BSN)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment and rotate through multiple ED areas; comfortable with occasional float to other departments as needed
