Job Title: Caregiver / Direct Support Professional

Location: Gilbert, AZ

Hours & Schedule: Evenings 4 pm - 9 pm, Overnights 9 pm - 8 am, Weekends 8 am - 8 pm

Work Environment: Home Care settings

Travel Required: Minimal travel, but some as needed

Salary / Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The Direct Support Professional provides hands-on assistance and supervision to individuals with special needs during evening, overnight, and weekend hours. This role supports members with daily living activities, skill-building, and community engagement while promoting independence, dignity, safety, and overall well-being.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist members with activities of daily living, including toileting and hygiene
• Prepare simple meals and assist with cooking as needed
• Perform light cleaning and maintain a safe environment
• Facilitate activities such as crafts, games, and group participation
• Accompany members on outings and community activities
• Provide encouragement and positive support throughout the day
• Follow care plans and safety guidelines consistently

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

• Fingerprint Clearance Card (need to obtain within 90 days of hire)
• CPR Certification (training assistance available)
• First Aid Certification (training assistance available)
• Article 9 Certification (training assistance available)
