ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Our Client is located in Tempe, AZ and is financially solvent. They are an Aerospace Manufacturer that provides Tubing for the various aircrafts. They are privately owned and have been around for over 50 years. During the Pandemic they were one of the very few companies who not lay off any workers (he has never anyone off since the inception of his company). The Owner simply believes that They provide a good working environment as well as a good benefits package which includes; Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and 401k. They pay weekly and this is a full time direct hire position. Job Title: **Production Team Technician**

Department: Deburring, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Tube Shop, Tool Room,

Reports To: Supervisors, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY:

Clean, Deburr, Machining, Bending, Press, Tool Room - Process parts using appropriate machinery on a variety of metal objects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Remove completed work pieces from equipment or work tables, using hand tools, and place work pieces in containers.

Load and adjust work pieces onto equipment or work tables, using hand tools.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to wear personal protection equipment, such as earplugs, safety glasses, hand protection.

Read and follow written or verbal work instructions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

HS Degree / GED

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Providing information to manager and co-workers, by telephone, written form, e-mail, or in person.

Understanding written or oral information.

Talking to others to convey information effectively.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusion or approaches to problems.

Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Standing, sitting or bent position for 8 10 hours a day

Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Ability to lift or move 10 to 15 pounds.

Ascent and descend a steep metal staircase with four steps for 8-10 hours a day

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Outdoor weather conditions

Fumes and Airborne particles

Loud noise level at times

Toxic or caustic chemicals
