Chiropractor Assistant
We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Chiropractic Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support to our chiropractic providers. This role supports efficient clinic operations, high-quality patient care, and continuity of services across clinic locations.
The Chiropractic Assistant assists with patient care during chiropractic visits, supports documentation and scheduling, facilitates prior authorizations, and provides cross-coverage as a Patient Service Representative (PSR) as needed.
Compensation: $36,243.96 - $44,398.85
Key Responsibilities
Assist providers during patient exams and treatments and prepare examination rooms and equipment.
Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and medications in the EMR.
Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and health maintenance.
Support proactive patient scheduling and facilitate prior authorizations.
Communicate patient concerns to providers in a timely manner.
Provide front desk support including check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and co-pay collection when covering PSR duties.
Perform general administrative tasks and support clinic workflows.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
Participate in clinic meetings, training, and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
CPR certification required.
Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Two (2) years of clinical or community health center experience preferred.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
