Perform body and paint repairs on Company owned and leased equipment. Assist mechanics in day to day operations and vehicle repairs in an efficient, timely, and safe manner.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Body Technician.
• Strong knowledge of paint mixing and color matching.
• Proficient in Fiberglass repairs.
• Must have some knowledge of Diesel Engines and Chassis.
• Must maintain current AZ Drivers License.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Inspect, maintain, and repair body/paint damage to all company owned and/or operated equipment to ensure fleet is within DOT and company operational standards. Make simple repairs and adjustments, remove, and replace parts, as necessary.
• Record work hours and parts used on a work order for any and all tasks performed. Identify next level or warranty repairs and escalate to the appropriate support entity.
• Must keep work area clean and comply with all safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment when appropriate (using chemicals and solvents, welding, hammering, or working under equipment).
• Assist in maintenance of fuel island and performing chassis repairs.
• Perform other mechanical / technical shop duties and special shop related projects or anything deemed necessary by management.
