Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Physical Therapist position is available at a school located in Somerton, AZ, serving students from various grade levels with a caseload to be determined. This onsite contract role runs from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and interventions for students within the school setting
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to develop individualized plans
- Monitor and document student progress in alignment with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in meetings and contribute as a member of the students educational team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Arizona Physical Therapy license is required
- IVP Fingerprint Card clearance is mandatory prior to employment
- Previous experience working as a physical therapist in school settings is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and staff
