Program Supervisor
Program Supervisors design and supervise programs for children and adolescents with autism and other developmental differences in their homes, schools, the community, and at ABI’s center. Primary duties include conducting functional behavior assessments, designing and modifying client treatment plans, preparing initial and progress reports, training and supervising behavior technicians, conducting parent training, leading team meetings, and participating in IEP meetings.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field
- BCBA credential or sitting for exam within 2 months of hire
- Passion and enthusiasm for working with individuals diagnosed with autism and other developmental differences and their caregivers across settings
- At least 3 years’ experience providing ABA treatment to individuals with autism or other developmental differences
- Willingness to travel to clients’ homes and schools in the Greater Los Angeles area
- Pre-Employment Screening, including criminal background check and TB clearance
- Full range of body motion including the ability to stand, stoop, kneel, reach, push and pull
- Willingness to work with individuals who engage in challenging behaviors such as aggression, elopement, and property destruction

Additional Information
- Program Supervisors working in client homes may be in contact with dogs, cats and other pets.
- Program Supervisors often work with challenging behaviors and may be exposed to aggressive behaviors, such as biting, kicking, spitting, scratching, or hitting. (Note that all staff are trained in crisis-prevention and de-escalation techniques)
- Training on ABI policies and procedures, curriculum development, working with ABA treatment payers, making evidence-based recommendations, conducting assessments, and more will occur upon hire
