Ford Automotive Transmission Technician

Sanderson Ford is seeking a skilled and motivated Transmission Technician to join our Service department! This position is ideal for a technician experienced in diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding automatic transmissions. Benefits * Health, medical, and dental insurance * Paid time off and vacation * Employee vehicle purchase plans * Growth and advancement opportunities * Long-term job stability * Flexible work schedule * Family-owned and operated dealership * Air-conditioned service bays Responsibilities * Diagnose, repair, and rebuild automatic transmissions across various makes and models * Perform complete overhauls, clutch replacements, and driveline repairs * Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and factory software for accurate troubleshooting * Complete repairs efficiently and according to manufacturer standards * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment * Communicate clearly with service advisors and other team members regarding repair status and findings Qualifications * Previous experience as a Transmission Technician required (Ford or OEM experience preferred) * ASE or manufacturer certifications a plus * Strong mechanical and diagnostic capabilities * Proven ability to perform complex transmission and driveline repairs * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record * Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment About Sanderson Ford For nearly 70 years, Sanderson Ford has proudly served the Phoenix community with integrity, dedication, and customer-focused service.
