PAY RATE: $43-59/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Ability to obtain a secret clearance not required to start

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Apply chemistry physics and materials science to develop and qualify composite materials and processes.

• Provide technical evaluation and support for composite part fabrication.

• Perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.

• Create and execute test plans write reports and contribute to technical specifications.

• Qualify/approve equipment materials and processes.

• Support lab testing supplier coordination and cross-functional collaboration with design production manufacturing and quality teams.

• Manage test and audit programs ensuring compliance with regulatory contractual and EHS/LEAN/Quality standards.

• Work 100% onsite in a dynamic 2nd shift role with opportunities for technical or leadership growth.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship (required to obtain U.S. Security Clearance; interim or final Secret Clearance post-start required).

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering Engineering Technology Chemistry Physics Mathematics Data Science or Computer Science.

  • Level 2: Bachelors 2 years or Masters degree.

  • Level 3: Bachelors 5 years or Masters 3 years.

• Willingness to work 2nd shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience with composites elastomers and processing techniques.

• Hands-on lab experience with polymer chemistry and analytical techniques.

• Knowledge of epoxy cyanate ester bismaleimide urethane polyimide reinforcements and adhesives.

• Experience with composite failure modes and failure analysis.

• Familiarity with engineering drawings technical specifications and report writing.

• Strong communication skills with ability to present technical data and collaborate across disciplines.
