Day Team Member

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and quickly.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, dining spaces, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and adhering to food safety protocols.

Skills:

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude and the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
• Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting without sacrificing quality.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in all duties.
• Previous restaurant experience or retail math knowledge is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
