About the Position
Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an acute or sub-acute facility License: Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice in any state of the United States or its territories Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six months of hire Must-Have: - Professional knowledge of nursing care procedures - Ability to work independently in completing assignments Description: The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge. Consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments is essential. Guidelines include physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies, and procedures manuals. Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their families. Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care are necessary. The position requires commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to all health and safety protocols.
