As a **Security Officer Part Time Weekend Patrol** in **Avondale, AZ** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

**Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

DayTimeSat05:30 AM - 06:30 PMSun05:30 AM - 06:30 PM

**How This Role Works:**

+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at an industrial location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with post instructions.

+ Support emergency response activities by communicating with site contacts, assisting with evacuations and/or restricted access procedures, and documenting security-related concerns.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
