SUMMARY

Responsible for preparing materials and components prior to coating and handling finished products after coating. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role with opportunities to learn and grow within the company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prep parts and materials to ensure proper coating coverage.
• Load or unload products from the overhead conveyor according to production schedules.
• Handle unpainted parts as a loader and painted parts as an unloader.
• Package finished products as required.
• Follow all safety protocols, including start-up/shut-down procedures.
• Perform basic quality checks on finished and unfinished parts.
• Organize and stage materials before and after coating.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Support the powder coating team as needed.
• Perform assigned tasks in a timely and orderly manner.
• Maintain high quality standard for products being painted.
• Additional duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, and management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with Powder Coat is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic tools.
• Must be able to work successfully in a team environment and/or independently and able to take direction from others. Self-Starter, Team Player.
• Heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), bending, and stooping throughout shift.
• Ability to work while standing for long periods (10-12 hour shifts) with heavy lifting continuously under extreme temperatures.
• Must demonstrate consistent punctuality and reliable attendance
