The Avionics industry is entering into a new exciting age of Urban Air Mobility and Autonomous Flight.

Be part of a team that will lead the way in this market by developing new compact and lightweight Next Generation Traffic and Airborne Surveillance Avionics that will be used on a wide variety of aircraft platforms from Air Transport and Business Jets to Urban Air Mobility (UAM) / Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer within our TCAS (Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System) and Transponder Product Team you will play a critical role in creating advanced systems that will meet the long-term evolving needs of the Aviation industry. Your systems engineering expertise will not only impact the successful delivery of cutting-edge Avionics solutions but also contribute to the broader mission of enhancing global aviation travel navigation and safety.

On our team you will have the opportunity to work on next-generation and new product development projects directly contributing to the advancement of aviation technology in the Airborne Traffic Collision Avoidance & Surveillance Avionics space. You will have ownership for systems engineering development at every aspect of the systems life cycle.

• Work across disciplines collaborating with cross-functional teams consisting of Systems Software Hardware and Test Engineers to understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences technology engineering or mathematics
• 5 years of Systems Engineering experience

WE VALUE

• Experience in similar product domains is of value i.e. Avionics Navigation and/or Airborne Surveillance (TCAS Transponder ADS-B DME UAT)
• Masters Degree or advanced professional certification
• Competence to convey subtle or complex messages clearly as appropriate for the topic and audience
• Experience with RF products
• Experience with the FAA certification process for avionics is of value.
• Experience in working with aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing Airbus Dassault etc is of value.
• Individuals that quickly analyze incorporate and apply new information and concepts.
• Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
• Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks and people
• Making autonomous decisions
