What You'll Do:

• The Tester must multitask in a manufacturing environment and may be needed to perform specialized tests and perform rework procedures as directed by supervision.
• Must maintain adequate throughput with high levels of quality while working in a dark room environment.
• Use the electrical or mechanical equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, current, voltage meters, dial calipers and indicators, height gauges, micrometers, and microscopes.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, testing, quality inspection, or production environments.

What Sets You Apart:

• Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Must be able to work alone and with others in a dark room environment.
• Knowledge of all safety (mechanical, chemical, electrical) procedures applicable to job.
• Ability to clearly read, write, and understand English.
• Working knowledge of electrical or mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology.
• Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high-volume production).
• Soldering certification.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Ability to become familiar with Six Sigma problem solving tools, 5S and Lean methodologies.
• Good communication skills.
• Teamwork oriented.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision if necessary.
• Ability to make quality decisions quickly.
• Patience.
