- Perform on-site inspections for water, fire, and specialty mitigation losses
- Create accurate Xactimate estimates in compliance with IICRC S500 / S700 standards
- Properly classify losses (Category, Class, scope justification)
- Upload estimates, photos, moisture logs, and documentation into Xactanalysis and internal systems
- Respond to adjuster requests, revisions, and disputes in a timely manner
- Coordinate mitigation crews, equipment placement, and job schedules
- Ensure work authorizations, contracts, and certificates of satisfaction are properly executed
- Monitor job progress and close files promptly to support billing and collections
- Communicate clearly with homeowners, adjusters, and internal teams
- Adhere to carrier and TPA program guidelines (cycle time, initial upload, documentation standards)
- Maintain clean files that withstand audits and desk reviews
- Support dispute submissions when needed with clear, professional justification
- 2+ years of mitigation estimating or coordination experience
- Strong working knowledge of Xactimate and Xactanalysis
- Solid understanding of IICRC S500/S700 standards
- Experience with insurance carrier programs preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- IICRC WRT (required or must obtain)
- ASD, AMRT, or FSRT a plus
- Xactimate Level 2 or higher preferred
