Project Accounting & Billing Specialist POST NUMBER: 476020

Vaco Arizona is hiring a Project Accounting & Billing Specialist for a top client in Scottsdale. This is a direct hire, onsite opportunity paying up to $70,000 annually. This role is ideal for someone with construction accounting experience who is detail-oriented and comfortable managing both billing and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and manage AP inbox
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate vendor and client records
  • Prepare progress billings based on SOV and contracts
  • Work with Project Managers to track and reconcile project costs
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end close
  • Collect and manage subcontractor documents (W-9s, insurance, etc.)
  • Track and process lien waivers
  • Ensure all documentation meets compliance requirements

Required Experience

  • Experience with AIA billing
  • 2 years of construction accounting and/or billing (AR) experience
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
