Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Proficiency in these methodologies is crucial for managing product backlogs, prioritizing features, and working with development teams.

• Product Management Tools:

• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, or similar platforms for managing tasks, backlogs, and user stories.

• Data Analysis:

• The ability to interpret data, identify trends, and use this information to make product decisions.

• API Basics:

• Understanding how APIs work is important for integrating different systems and understanding the technical limitations and possibilities of a product.

• Data Governance:

• Experience with tools like Collibra, Informatica, or other data governance platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Product Design and Strategy:

• Collaborate with the tech team to define business requirements for the EDM Metadata Hub.

• Participate in backlog grooming and prioritization to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Feature Ideation and Validation:

• Contribute to the ideation of core features for metadata ingestion, management, and retrieval.

• Engage with stakeholders to validate feature requirements and ensure alignment with user needs.

• Requirement Definition:

• Work with tech partners to gather and define requirements for the Metadata Hub, focusing on centralized metadata ingestion, management, and retrieval.

• Collaborate on defining product roadmap for EDM metadata hub

• Backlog Management:

• Participate in backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint planning with tech partners to align Metadata Hub delivery with product milestones.

• Delivery Oversight:

• Act as the product liaison to ensure tech partners deliver Metadata Hub components on schedule and according to product specifications.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Facilitate stakeholder feedback sessions to validate Metadata Hub features and ensure they meet business requirements.
