Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1570 - $1610 per week

Orientation Details

• Required Orientation: 1 day of didactics and 2 days of orientation at the start of the assignment

Respiratory Therapist Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:30 – 07:00)
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Location: Tucson, AZ 85712 (Arizona healthcare jobs)

Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
• Experience in Emergency Department (ED) and Adult ICU required
• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Previous travel respiratory therapy experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Ability to float between units and participate in on-call rotation
• Must meet all compliance and eligibility requirements for Arizona healthcare assignments

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments: MDI, nebulizers, ABGs, bedside PFTs, NIF, VC, trach care, oxygen therapy, CPT (flutter/manual/vest), CPAP, BiPAP, HHFNC
• Work across multiple hospital units: Floors, ED, ICU, Pediatrics, Pediatric ED, PACU
• Assist with intubation, extubation, and ventilator weaning
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and provide clinical support
• Transport patients as needed within the hospital
• Participate in required didactics and orientation sessions
• Float to various units and participate in on-call rotation as needed
