Vice President of Finance
Benevilla Main Campus – Surprise, AZ
Pay Range: $105,000–$115,000 | Salaried, Exempt (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Work Environment: Primarily office-based; occasional evenings/weekends for board meetings, audits, budget cycles, or special projects. Hybrid/flexible work options may be available after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period and based on organizational needs.

As Vice President of Finance, you will:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and advise the executive team and Board of Directors.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit fund accounting standards, grant requirements, and restricted funds.
  • Manage complex government contracts and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Oversee enterprise-level accounting systems and internal controls.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

What You’ll Need:

  • Ability to commute daily to the Surprise, AZ area (relocation assistance not provided).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master's strongly preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
  • Required nonprofit experience with fund accounting, grants, and restricted funds.
  • Experience managing complex government contracts and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership of finance teams and enterprise-level accounting systems.
  • CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
