Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Product Manager to drive the evolution of our product lines, revolutionizing commercial vehicle safety and efficiency. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as our weigh station bypass solutions, driver compliance systems, and fleet safety platforms, you will play a key role in setting the industry standard for safety and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include identifying growth opportunities, developing breakthrough features, and executing a comprehensive product strategy that supports PrePass’s mission and pioneers next-generation technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform market trends, regulatory insights, and user feedback into a product roadmap, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of the transportation industry.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for new product offerings, ensuring alignment with market demand, customer needs, and PrePass’s mission.
• Build compelling business cases that highlight strategic benefits, ROI, and how new products contribute to streamlining fleet operations and enhancing road safety.

Market & Competitor Research

• Conduct market and competitor research to identify industry gaps, unmet needs, and opportunities for innovation.

Customer & Market Engagement

• Engage regularly with customers to conduct market research, identify, prioritize, and size opportunities to enhance product value, ensuring customer-centricity.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership, ensuring a customer-centric and forward-thinking approach to innovation.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of innovative product features—from ideation to launch—ensuring each stage contributes to operational excellence and market success.
• Leverage agile methodologies to iterate quickly on product ideas, validate concepts through pilot programs, and support rollouts that drive measurable operational improvements.
• Drive product validation through consumer testing, scientific analysis, and feasibility studies to ensure market readiness and product effectiveness.

Collaboration & Thought Leadership

• Serve as a thought leader within PrePass, presenting product vision, strategy, and roadmap to executive leadership and partner organizations.
• Lead cross-functional brainstorming sessions and innovation workshops to inspire creative solutions and energize teams.

Innovation Culture & Process Improvement

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation by embracing new technologies and creative problem-solving.
• Work closely with engineering and other teams to implement rapid prototyping, testing, and iterative development.

Industry & Regulatory Awareness

• Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure PrePass remains a leader in commercial vehicle innovation and safety.

Requirements

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product management, specifically in innovation or technology-driven product development, preferably in the transportation, OEM, logistics, or safety technology sectors.

• Proven ability to conceptualize, develop, and launch high-impact products that generate strong market demand. Experience in turning disruptive ideas into tangible solutions.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.

• Ability to manage ambiguity and drive consensus in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to executives, external partners, and advisory boards.

• Experience with SaaS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Azure DevOps, and other product management tools.

• Experience managing a full product lifecycle from inception to end of life.

• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
