Payroll Specialist 3 (contract)

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Position Responsibilities

• Process payroll on a regular basis (e.g., bi‑weekly)

• Calculate and validate wages, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll elements, including contract‑ or labor‑specific pay rules.

• Maintain and update employee payroll and timekeeping records, including new hires, terminations, rate changes, and job labor allocations.

• Support and monitor employee time entry in compliance with Boeing timekeeping policies; provide guidance and training to ensure accurate and timely labor reporting.

• Ensure payroll operations comply with federal, state, and local tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and Boeing contractual compliance requirements.

• Prepare, review, and submit payroll tax filings, certified payroll (if applicable), and required payroll reports.

• Research, resolve, and respond to employee payroll inquiries, discrepancies, and corrections in a timely manner.

• Maintain organized payroll records and documentation to support audits, compliance reviews, and Boeing reporting needs.

• Generate and distribute payroll, timekeeping, and compliance reports to internal management and designated Boeing stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing and payroll administration

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent payroll‑focused experience.

• Experience supporting aerospace, government, or large enterprise clients with complex payroll and timekeeping requirements a plus

Pay Rate Range

48 - 53 USD hourly
