Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Ob/Gyn

Description

As a Locum MD, you will be responsible for providing high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients, ensuring their health and well-being. You will play a critical role in a collaborative environment, working alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and support the community's needs

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct patient examinations, assessments, and diagnoses
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
• Perform necessary medical procedures and surgeries as required
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records for all patients
• Educate patients on health management and preventive care
• Participate in patient consultations and follow-up care
• Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license to practice in the state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ob/Gyn
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in women's health
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

1:4 weeknight and weekend beeper call rotation

Annual Volume: ~250 deliveries

Daily Clinic Volume: 12-14 patients

Support Staff: Midwives

Must be board-certified
