Salary: Â $160k - $250K (BOE)
Status: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Some extended hours as needed
Travel: Required based on business needs

Overview:
Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking a seasoned Project Executive to drive business development, team leadership, and project oversight for plumbing and process piping operations. This role is focused on strategic growth through the acquisition of new clients and projects while mentoring a team of Project Managers and Engineers. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with extensive industry experience and a strong consultative sales approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business development and client acquisition strategies for plumbing/process piping

• Oversee project pursuit, estimating, contracts, and execution from sales to closeout

• Assign and optimize workloads across Project Managers and Project Engineers

• Monitor revenue pipelines, project forecasting, and regional performance

• Provide leadership in job planning, pre-construction meetings, and client presentations

• Cultivate long-term relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal departments

• Mentor project staff and support recruiting, development, and retention

• Analyze market trends and develop strategies to grow verticals in alignment with company goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales Management, or related field

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical construction (HVAC/plumbing/process piping)

• Proven experience managing large projects ($5M–$25M+) and teams

• Deep understanding of estimating, design-build, and client contract negotiation

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and team-building capabilities

• High level of business acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making judgment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management/accounting platforms

• Ability to travel as needed to job sites and regional offices
