Rooted in the vibrant food cultures of Turkey, Italy, France, Malta, Greece, Spain, and Morocco, Pinyon brings a fresh, sophisticated approach to coastal Mediterranean dining.

Set along the park with a welcoming patio for alfresco dining, Pinyon invites guests to enjoy cocktails, spritzes, house-made pita, crudos, pasta, seasonal salads, spreads, dips, and dishes cooked over open flame. Our kitchen is driven by precision, passion, and an obsession with quality.

We are seeking skilled and motivated culinary cooks to join our opening team. Whether you specialize in sauté, grill, line, or pastry, this role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen where consistency, teamwork, and attention to detail are key.

Day in the Life:

• Prepare and execute menu items with precision according to recipes and plating standards
• Work across stations including sauté, line, grill, and pastry production as assigned
• Maintain consistency and urgency during high-volume service
• Support daily prep, mise en place, station setup, and restocking
• Assist with grilling and open-fire cooking techniques as needed
• Execute pastry and dessert prep with accuracy and presentation in mind
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health standards
• Communicate clearly with chefs and teammates during service
• Adapt quickly to kitchen needs and support other stations as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
• Experience in sauté, grill, line, or pastry strongly preferred
• Strong knife skills and foundational culinary knowledge
• Experience with live-fire or open-flame cooking is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
